In Birch cottage, the living space centers around a wood-burning fireplace, stocked with firewood, where a reading chair and pull-out couch create an inviting sanctuary.
Upstairs, beneath a skylight, a queen-sized McRoskey mattress – handcrafted in San Francisco – invites rest. A separate reading nook, illuminated by its own skylight, offers books and games to enjoy during your stay.
The kitchen provides a four burner range, an oven, essential cookware and a small fridge. Locally roasted coffee beans, cocoa, and organic teas are included with your stay. Outside, a private deck is available for soaking in the sights and sounds of the bay. Step from your doorway directly onto a garden path leading to a spacious shared waterfront deck where Tomales Bay stretches toward rolling hills, dotted with trees and grazing cattle.
